Moledo Premium OLR belongs to one of the toughest one loft races at the moment. The races achieved low velocities, with all races winner being flagged under the 1500 m/min!
This season had tough races where winners flew up to 1200 m/min, but also races with smoother races in the 1400 m/min. Moledo is known for its tough races where the pigeons have to return home through many mountains.
The Final
The final had a higher velocity than in the past. Milly’s Bolt of Kingsway Lofts UK won the final with a velocity of 1389 m/min and a lead of at least 9 minutes on the other 792 competitors. His father is a grandson of Olympic Triple Nena from Bosmans-Leekens. She became Olympiad bird allround Brussels 2017 and won 5x 1st prize. The Mother of the winner is 100% strain of icon Leo Heremans.
Ace pigeon competition
Loro Piana from Kupka-Smilowski became the 1st ace pigeon and she achieved this by winning 4th, 15th, 24th, 40th, 48th & 88th in the Hot Spot races. Through both parents she is descended from the legendary one loft race breeder Hurrican 51. Offspring won a.o. 1st Final SA Million Dollar OLR 2015, 1st Final Golden Algarve OLR 2017 & 1st Ace Belgian Master OLR 2015. In addition, Loro Piana is also descended from Porsche 911, Prince Porsche, Louise (PEC) Olympiade 003 (Heremans) & Nat. Breeding Wonder (Vermeerbergen-Wilms). A pedigree full of the crème de la crème what can be found in pigeon sport worldwide!
